Miss A

This was a special session. You see, Miss A's daddy is in the Army and has received orders for deployment to Eastern Afghanistan (sp?). He will be going early August. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Thank you for all you do, Jordan. Be safe and God Speed.

Oh Monkey!::: Kansas City Family Photographer

You never know how the world will evolve for all of us and who we might cross paths with years and years later. This [hot] red-headed mama use to live, oh 2 blocks or so, from me as a child. Granted, the gray in my hair will tell you I'm a few years older. But both Ivy and I remember walking to grade school together.
Forward 15 years, we both end up in the KC area and reconnected via some marketing consulting I have been doing. I am honored that she chose me to take her family's photographs this past weekend. Mother Nature and I had a meeting Sunday morning and I told her I needed a beautiful, mild weather day. For once, she listened.
Enjoy these previews of Ivy and her sweet little family!

The Hills Were Alive with the Sound of ... FAMILY!!

The Gang's All Here!

Liberty Memorial was the spot to be last weekend. I met up with the families of three brothers and their children and grandchildren. It was a super sweet group who were very fun to work with. Even though my schedule for that day had never been busier, I enjoyed every stitch of it!

They finished the "session" with a picnic on the sprawling grounds of Liberty Memorial. They even made me a yummy chicken salad sandwich and sweet tea... hit certainly it the spot in my uber busy day.

Thanks Rollers!!

Miss Lola::: I heart her squishy, puffy cheekies!

A Man & Ladies 4

I love, love, LOVE this family. They are too cute! I started photographing them when Miss Molly (the youngest) was still in mommy's tummy. Wow, does time fly.

Due to the unpredictable nature of Kansas weather, we had to reschedule from last weekend's session. Glad we did. The weather rocked on Saturday! I even got sunburned!

This session was extra special due to the short break from work of the father of this family, Jared. He has been deployed to Iraq to protect you and me. He returns in a week or two to fulfill this tour (his third, I believe). Jared, thank you for all you do for us! Stay safe and come home for good, soon! Kim, you are truly one of the best, most patient moms I have had the pleasure to meet and know. You are a inspiration.

enjoy your previews...
