A Mother's Day...documented

Although Saturday afternoon proved to be a bit, well, rainy... this great family braved the raindrops as we worked feverishly to get their images documented on the camera. The most important photograph for this family was the large group shot. I am happy to report, they will have many to choose from.

Girls Everywhere!!

This daddy certainly has/will have his hands full with all of these beautiful girls in the family. We were all working around the littlest gal, Molly, who proved for some fun moments during our session on Saturday.

BUT, I think we managed to get beautiful images of all the girls, hog-tied and all!

It was a surprise birthday party for Bryan Friday night... and no, I am not sharing what birthday # it was :) Bryan's family and friends suprised him at Tanner's in Shawnee (which just opened one month ago). The little kiddos were soooo sweet. I made friends with them right away. We're pretty sure Bryan was surprised!

Call for 2009 High School Seniors- Johnson County

Can you believe it is already time to be thinking about 2009 graduates? V Photography is sending out our annual call for Senior Ambassadors for our studio. Our High School Senior photography division is looking for 6 high schools ambassadors this year.

We are currently seeking applications from these area high schools: Olathe South, Olathe East, Olathe Northwest, Olathe North, Blue Valley Northwest, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley West, St Thomas Aquinas, Spring Hill, Shawnee Mission East, Shawnee Mission North, Shawnee Mission Northwest, Shawnee Mission South, Shawnee Mission West... any HS in Johnson County Kansas.

Gardner-Edergerton has already been filled, but I may consider one more ambassador for GEHS.

We will choose another 6 Ambassadors from the group of applicants. You will be receiving a 2-3 hour HS Senior session with multiple locations, indoor/outdoor, all usable images on high resolution CD with copyright release, 'rep' cards (similar to business cards) with your image on them to hand out to friends and more.

Are you expecting times 2, 3 or more?

I am looking for a pregnant mom who is due to give birth to TWINS, TRIPLETS OR QUADS. This photo shoot will be styled by me and there will be no session fee. Please contact us at tonyavernon@yahoo.com and leave your name, age, due date and how many multiples you are expecting!!

This session will be of the babies but I will offer discounted rates for mommies who would like a maternity session.

FINALLY, a beautiful Spring day with a mild wind and 70 degrees on a weekend! The perfect day to take Sarah & Shauwn's engagement photographs.

We hit a place I have yet to shoot... the Power & Light district by the Sprint Center. We found fabulous areas to photograph these uber photogenic couple (even though they disagree with me... but I'm right)!


Also, we swung by Loose Park, which was crazy-busy, for a few 'park' style images.

Good Golly Miss Molly

OK, I am sure she has never heard that before, but wow, this girl is just beautiful!! The camera definitely loves her! Molly will graduate in 2009 and has been awarded the coveted (well, I would hope she likes it) High School Ambassador program for V Photography.


There are only 2 per high school available. So, Molly will be touting my work with High School Seniors for 2009 graduates.

A Sweet Family

I took a leisurely drive up to Liberty, MO, today to meet a couple of the cutest little girls. Oddly enough, it was 5 degrees warmer in Liberty and barely any wind... which compared to Gardner today, says a lot!
